INSTRUMENT TO CONTROL THE PRESENCE OF POWDER INSIDE THE WIRE
This device is particularly useful for producers of “Flux Cored” welding wire, a wire whose production process involves, before drawing, the filling of a tube, the starting material, with a powder.
This instrument has the task of checking the presence of the powder inserted along the entire length of the wire, and therefore its uniformity, in order to guarantee its quality.
It is able to detect the defect even in sections of a few centimeters, at the wire speed of 35m / s.
MANUAL SCALE – ROLLER TABLE
The system checks the final weight of the produced spool; according to the weight detected, an automatic correction of the total meters to be wound in the next spool is carried out – this in order to produce a spool of correct weight according to the one set. On the Automatic machine the produced spools are automatically unloaded and placed on the evacuation roller table.
MOTORIZED WINDER TAILSTOCK
The closing of the tailstock is carried out by a specific motor. The positioning quota is set directly by the operator on the main panel. Micro-adjustments can be made in opening / closing with the appropriate commands on the HMI. On the Multispool (semiautomatic machine), this system completely eliminates manual adjustment activities with a mechanical C-key.
ANNEALER
The annealer is a device that heats and cools a portion of wire, about 12cm long.
The heated section is destined, after an automatic repositioning, to the bending, cutting and hooking area on the spool / basket.
It’s very useful, and at times indispensable, for making the final hook of particular wires such as cored ones, or particularly hard types of steel, whose bending would cause them to break.
A specific page on the display allows the operator to select and set both the heating and cooling times.
